Scorpio Season 2026—The 9 Dates That Will Change You

Scorpio season is the time of year we stop pretending.

Something shifts when the Sun enters Scorpio. You feel it in your body before you can explain it. A hunger for something real. A need to go deeper in your conversations, in your love, in the way you look at yourself.

Scorpio is passion and intensity. It is the part of us that feels everything, notices everything, and keeps most of it hidden. It is the part that goes inward when the world gets loud, and comes back changed.

This is the season of the questions you ask at midnight. Who am I when nobody is watching? What do I want that I have been afraid to say out loud? What am I ready to release, and what am I willing to fight for? Scorpio transforms us, and it does it by asking for honesty. It asks us to feel what is really there, to look at what has been hidden, and to take our power back from every place we gave it away.

You may already feel it. Maybe as tenderness, maybe as restlessness, maybe as the pull toward something you cannot quite name. Whatever it is, it is meant for you. Let's walk through this season together, one date at a time.

OCTOBER 23—THE SUN ENTERS SCORPIO

When the Sun enters Scorpio and squares Pluto, the darker side of life comes to the surface, one way or another.

That is what the Sun square Pluto does every time. If you are standing in your power, you feel it as fuel. If you are not, Pluto shows you where you gave it away: the conversation you swallowed, the limit you stopped enforcing, the part of yourself you keep editing so everyone else stays comfortable.

The window runs from October 23 through October 31. Nine days of Pluto speaking in plain language.

This is a good time for shadow work, and you have already begun. Since October 3, the first part of the Venus retrograde has been taking you down into your relationships, your desires, and what you will and will not accept. This square is the continuation. Venus opened the door, and now Pluto walks you through it.

You may notice it first as restlessness with things you tolerated last month. A job, a friendship, a silence at the dinner table, a promise you made to keep the peace. Pluto turns up the volume on whatever has been quietly costing you, until you cannot pretend it is nothing.

There is something freeing inside that. The shadow only frightens us while it stays in the dark. Once you look at it directly, it becomes information, and information gives you back your choices.

Between October 23 and October 31, let yourself feel the things you usually manage. Say what you actually want. Admit what you actually miss. The more honest you are with yourself now, the more power you carry into the rest of the season.

Notice what it does to your relationships first. Pluto has a way of showing you who you are when you stop performing. The people who feel like home will lean closer. The ones who only knew the edited version of you may feel the distance.

This is part of shadow work, and it is tender. You are allowed to feel grief for the things you outgrow. You are allowed to feel proud of the strength it takes to look.

Keep it simple. Ask yourself, in the quiet hours: where am I holding back? Where am I shrinking? Where did I hand someone else the keys to my power? You do not need the whole answer tonight. One honest sentence is enough to begin.

Whatever surfaces, let it surface. Pluto asks for honesty, and honesty in Scorpio season is power.

All of this is happening inside the last Venus star point in Scorpio in 96 years. If you want the full story of what that means, watch my Venus retrograde video, The 96-Year Feminine Revolution.

Pay attention to what pulls a reaction out of you between now and October 31. A reaction is information. The person who irritates you, the memory that arrives uninvited at three in the morning, the sudden urge to leave something or someone—Pluto is pointing at it.

Scorpio season has a reputation for intensity, and the reputation is earned. Intensity is energy waiting for a direction, and when the Sun meets Pluto, you get to choose the direction. You get to take back what was yours all along.

Everything that comes up in these nine days is something Venus has been preparing you for since the beginning of the month. You have been in training for this. You are ready for what Pluto is about to show you.

OCTOBER 24—MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE IN SCORPIO

When Mercury goes retrograde in Scorpio on October 24, it closes the water trilogy of 2026. Think back to the end of February, into March, when Mercury retrograded in Pisces. Think back to the end of June, into July, when it retrograded in Cancer. Three retrogrades, three water signs, one story told in three chapters, and this is the last one. It runs from October 24 through November 13.

Mercury in Scorpio is deeply reflective and deeply emotional, with an extra dose of spookiness to it. The mind goes where it normally avoids. Old feelings return with their full weight, because this retrograde is here to close a deeply emotional cycle, and you cannot close what you have not felt.

The more you allow yourself to go within and sit with what you find, the freer you will feel in 2027. Sit with it. Let the feeling finish its sentence before you try to fix it, explain it, or send the text. Mercury in Scorpio goes through the drawers you stopped opening. A message you never answered, a goodbye that never got said, a sentence someone spoke to you years ago that still lives in your body.

Some of it will make you tender. Some of it will make you angry. Some of it will make you laugh at how much you were carrying. All of it belongs to the closing of this year's emotional cycle, and none of it needs to be solved this week.

The first retrograde of the trilogy asked you to dissolve. The second asked you to remember. This last one asks you to finish.

Give yourself a ritual for it. Light a candle in the evening and let your mind wander back through the year. Write a letter to the version of you who lived through February and March, and another to the one who lived through the end of June and July. You do not have to send either one.

Mercury is the planet of the mind, and in Scorpio the mind becomes an investigator. It wants the truth underneath the story you told yourself. When it finds that truth, resist the urge to argue with it. Receive it.

By November 13, when Mercury turns direct, you will know something about this year that you did not know in October. Let that knowledge be the closing line of the trilogy.

If you have not watched my Mercury retrograde video, this is the moment. It follows the arc from the first chapter to this one, and it will show you where your own life sat during each of those windows.

Venus is retrograde as well, and both planets turn direct on the same day, November 13. So for most of Scorpio season, the planet of the mind and the planet of the heart are both turned inward, both asking you to look back.

Everything you swore you had moved past comes to the table. What you did in the spring and the summer of this year, the people who were in your life then, the version of you who made those choices—they all return for a final conversation. That is how a cycle closes.

OCTOBER 25—FULL MOON IN TAURUS AND VENUS RE-ENTERS LIBRA

When the Full Moon in Taurus rises on October 25, it forms a T-square with Pluto, and the truth you have been keeping private steps into the light. This full moon is in an out-of-sign conjunction with retrograde Chiron in Aries, sits opposite retrograde Venus and right on top of retrograde Chiron, and it squares Pluto, now direct in Aquarius. All full moons bring illumination. Very few go as deep as this one.

It is one of the peaks of the Venus retrograde, and on the same day Venus backs out of Scorpio and re-enters Libra, where she opposes Chiron. The planet of love and the wound face each other across the sky. If you have been keeping your true desires secret, prepare to see them in full display. What you want, what you miss, what you refuse to admit you still care about—the full moon lights it all, and Pluto's square makes it impossible to look away.

Some of you will feel relief, the relief of finally admitting what you have known for weeks. Some of you will feel a pang, because a wish you buried is standing in front of you again. Both are welcome here. A full moon does not ask you to be tidy. It asks you to see clearly, and then, when you are ready, to choose.

With Venus coming back into Libra the same day, the story of love that began on October 3 turns a corner. You have been underground with it. Now it begins to climb toward the light, carrying everything you found down there.

Plan for the night of the full moon to be quiet if you can. Leave room for whatever rises. Stand outside if the sky is clear, and let the light touch your face.

Ask the moon one question: what do I want that I have been pretending not to want? Then listen for the first answer, before the editing starts. That answer, however small, is the thread this retrograde has been pulling since October 3.

Pluto's square gives the answer weight. Chiron makes it tender. Venus, opposite the Moon, makes it about love, about what you value, about who and what deserves your heart. Together they make this one of the most honest nights of the year.

Let the moon show you everything before you decide anything. The revelation may arrive as a conversation, a dream, or a feeling in your chest while you are doing something ordinary.

Notice what you feel when Venus returns to Libra. The retrograde has one more chapter to run, until November 13, and it will carry what this full moon uncovers. You are not asked to resolve it on October 25. You are asked to see it.

OCTOBER 30—MERCURY SQUARES MARS IN LEO

When Mercury squares Mars in Leo on October 30, words carry immense power, and anger rises to the surface. Mercury is retrograde, speaking from Scorpio. Mars is in Leo, in Leo's extroverted fire. Between them, the square brings intense conversations. Whatever has been simmering finds its voice.

Watch the days leading up to October 30 especially. The tension builds before the day itself, in the tone of a message, a pause that lasts too long, an old argument that reopens over something small.

Words have immense power now. Words said in anger land harder, stay longer, and are remembered after the feeling has gone. You can say true things, hard things, necessary things, but say them with intention. Choose your words as if they were spells, because for these days, they are.

Think about who you speak to most this week. A partner, a parent, a coworker, a friend. Think about the conversation you have been postponing, and the one you keep rehearsing in the shower. Mercury retrograde makes us replay. Mars makes us react. Together they can turn a small misunderstanding into a long weekend. If you feel your voice rising, let it rise in a journal, in a voice memo to yourself, in the car with the windows up. Once the heat has passed, decide what actually needs to be said.

Anger is information too. Underneath it there is almost always something that matters to you. Find that, and speak from there. If you know a conversation is coming, prepare for it. Write down the one thing you most need the other person to understand. One thing, instead of the whole history. Then decide whether the moment is right or whether the moment is only loud.

The days around October 30 can also bring words from other people that land like arrows. Before you answer, breathe. Ask yourself whether this is about you, or about the heat of the sky passing through them. You are allowed to wait a day to respond. In a Mercury retrograde, the second draft is almost always kinder and clearer than the first.

Some conversations that surface now are overdue and necessary. Trust yourself to know the difference between a needed truth and a spark that wants a fire.

You are less than a week into the Mercury retrograde, and the Sun square Pluto is still running, so the shadow work of the last week meets a sky that wants to talk. Anything you uncovered on the 23rd, the 24th, and the 25th is looking for language.

The next day is October 31, the final day of the Sun square Pluto window, and it is Halloween. Whatever came up for you in these nine days, take it into the night with you and let it be seen.

NOVEMBER 1 TO 24—MARS MEETS JUPITER AND THE SOUTH NODE IN LEO

When Mars meets Jupiter and the lunar south node in Leo from November 1 through November 24, the sky fills with big emotion, big action, and stories from the past. Scorpio's perceptive, introverted influence is balanced by the extroverted light of Leo. For three weeks, Mars, Jupiter, and the south node of destiny travel together.

Expect big displays of affection, action, emotion, and even anger. Past stories may revisit you, and they may carry a karmic quality, as though something unfinished is circling back to be seen. Excess and exaggeration are the name of the game. Jupiter expands, and Mars adds the fuel. Impulsivity needs to be kept at bay. The urge to say it all, spend it all, give it all, or burn it all down arrives quickly, and it does not always arrive with good judgment.

Picture how much life is packed into these three weeks. Mars wants to move. Jupiter wants more. The south node pulls you back toward the familiar, toward the people and patterns your soul already knows by heart. You may find yourself in a scene that feels like a rerun, the same argument, the same kind of person, the same temptation, only larger this time. That is the karmic quality coming through. The past is asking whether you will handle it the same way.

Give the story a second ending. Choose the response you wish you had chosen last time. Notice how it feels to be loved loudly, and how it feels to be fought with loudly. This trio makes everything vivid. Affection becomes a grand gesture. Anger becomes a storm. Even an ordinary Tuesday carries a charge.

Use that charge for something. Put the energy into creating, moving, building, apologizing, asking, loving someone well. Heat with nowhere to go finds an argument. Pay attention to what keeps returning to you from the past during these weeks. A name, a place, a feeling you thought was finished. It may not be finished yet. It may be asking for one last honest look so that it can finally rest.

On November 4, retrograde Venus sextiles Jupiter in Leo, and in the middle of all that fire, a softer door opens. This day brings a natural, effortless warmth, charm, and grace to the way you move through the world and the way you meet people.

Abundance and generosity are the gifts here. You may feel more big-hearted, more affectionate, more welcoming, and you may find that positive people and supportive opportunities find their way to you.

There is a creative and cultural flow to this day too, an appreciation for art, music, beauty, philosophy, and other cultures. If you have a talent for creating or entertaining, let it out. In a season this intense, this sextile is a reminder that ease exists, and that you are allowed to enjoy it.

If you want to go deeper into the meeting of Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node in Leo, my Jupiter in Leo class is built for exactly this.

Hold the fire with both hands. This is a stretch of the season built for courage, and courage and impulse look alike from the inside. Give yourself a day before you act on the biggest feelings.

The exact meeting of Mars and Jupiter comes on November 15, and we will get there. For now, watch how these three planets color every date between November 1 and November 24, because they sit underneath all of it.

NOVEMBER 8—NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

When the New Moon in Scorpio arrives on November 8, at 16 degrees, it brings the six of cups—giving help and magic to someone else. Sixteen degrees of Scorpio belongs to the six of cups, a card about offering your help, your magic, and your presence to another person.

Look at the sky behind this moon. Mercury is retrograde at 7 degrees of Scorpio. Mars, the ruler of this New Moon, is conjunct Jupiter and the south node in Leo, and it squares the Moon. Retrograde Venus sextiles both Mars and Jupiter.

That is a square from fire to water. You may need to defend yourself. You may need to stand your ground. Those who manage to channel the fire and water together can truly experience a new beginning, and with enough creativity and awareness, this pairing can push you toward the thing your heart has been asking for. A new moon in Scorpio asks for a quiet kind of courage. Mercury is still retrograde, so the beginning does not have to be loud. It can be a decision made privately, a promise to yourself, a small act of generosity nobody sees.

The six of cups is about giving. Think of who you have helped, and who has helped you. Think of the person in your life who could use a little magic right now, a call, a note, a meal, an hour of your full attention. Give from a true place, and with Mars ruling this moon, you get to give with fire in your hands.

Write your new moon intention in the language of giving. Instead of only asking what you want to receive this season, ask what you want to offer. Help, magic, presence, protection, attention. A new beginning that includes someone else tends to feel steadier than one you build alone.

Keep the intention close. Let it grow in private while Mercury finishes its retrograde, and share it when Mercury turns direct on November 13. And if you need help yourself, let this moon be your permission to ask for it.

Sit with the six of cups. Who needs what only you can give? Whose life could use your particular kind of magic? A new moon plants an intention, and this card suggests that the seed you plant may be for someone else's garden.

Mercury is still retrograde, so begin quietly. The new beginning of this moon does not need an announcement. It needs your attention, and a few days of listening to what the fire and the water are telling you.

NOVEMBER 13—MERCURY AND VENUS GO DIRECT

When Mercury and Venus both go direct on Friday, November 13, clarity arrives around your relationships, your money, and the way you communicate. Since October 3, Venus has taken you through the underworld of love. Since October 24, Mercury has taken you through the memory of the year. On November 13, both turn forward on the same day.

The fog begins to lift. Conversations that kept going in circles find their ending. Decisions about relationships, money, and what you say and to whom start to feel possible again. This is a potent day for ritual, magic, and your favorite witchy manifestations. A Friday the 13th, in the middle of Scorpio season, with both planets turning forward—light your candles. Write the letter. Speak the intention out loud.

Imagine the exhale. Weeks of looking backward, and then, on a Friday, the sky turns forward. Your messages start to feel lighter. The conversation you could not finish arrives at its natural end. The money question you kept circling begins to make sense.

Even if every answer is not here yet, the direction is. Venus and Mercury moving forward gives your relationships, your finances, and your voice a path to walk again. Build the day around that exhale. Take a bath, light the candle, write the intention on paper, speak it at the window. Whatever your witchy ritual is, bring it. This is the day it was made for.

Before the day ends, name what you are no longer carrying. A conversation, an expectation, an old version of a relationship. Say it out loud, then write it down.

The weeks of the retrograde have been a kind of excavation. On November 13, you begin to build on what you found. Decisions you postponed can start to take shape. Words that would not come start to arrive. A relationship you were unsure about begins to show you what it is.

Be gentle with yourself on the day. The ease may come in small pieces: a lighter message, a clearer thought, a morning when the weight is not there. Notice each one. Mark this date in your calendar before anything else. Everything you gathered since the retrograde began is ready to be used now.

Take a moment to write down what you learned. What you let go of, what you saw about yourself, what you decided you will no longer accept. The retrograde is closing, and what you write today becomes the first page of 2027.

NOVEMBER 15—MARS CONJUNCT JUPITER

When Mars meets Jupiter in Leo on November 15, the south node is right there with them, and the day can turn volatile. This is the exact meeting of the trio that has been building since November 1. Mars brings the action, Jupiter amplifies it, and the south node carries what the soul already knows how to do, which is not always the best of it. The south node can bring out the worst of the sign it sits in.

The same south node also carries memory. If this conjunction aligns with a planet in your natal chart, it can give you insight into your past lives. Look at your birth chart for a natal planet touched by this meeting, because that is where the old story lives. Keep impulsivity at bay, and keep your eyes open. This day can hand you fire, and it can hand you a window into where you have been before.

Pay attention to the feeling that arrives out of proportion to the moment. The flash of anger at something small. The love that feels too big for the situation. The sense that you have been here before. Those reactions can be echoes, and the echo may belong to a much older chapter than this lifetime. You do not have to understand it on the day. Write it down, and come back to it with your birth chart open in front of you. The pieces tend to arrange themselves when you give them a few days.

Stay close to your body on this day. Eat well. Sleep well. Move. When fire and the south node meet, the nervous system feels it before the mind does, and a rested body is a wiser guide than an exhausted one. If something from the past surfaces, treat it as a visitor. Ask what it wants you to know. The south node holds old stories, and they are looking for a place to land.

And if the day is simply a good one, if the meeting of Mars and Jupiter brings you courage, warmth, and a burst of joy, enjoy it fully. Joy is a perfectly good response to a Mars-Jupiter day.

If you do not know your birth chart yet, this is a good week to pull it up and see which of your natal planets sit near this meeting. A volatile day does not need to be a destructive one. Move your body. Say the true thing gently. Let the south node show you what it came to show you, and then let the old story go.

NOVEMBER 5 TO 21—THE SUN SQUARES THE LUNAR NODES

When the Sun squares the lunar nodes from November 5 through November 21, exact on November 17, destiny is at play. The south node in Leo, the north node in Aquarius, and the Sun in Scorpio at a square to both. Over these weeks, you are placed between where you have been and where you are going.

The nodes are the points of destiny. When the Sun touches them, what is meant for you becomes visible, and so does what you are meant to leave behind. The window opened on November 5, it peaks on November 17, and it closes on November 21.

Then, on November 18 and 19, the Sun in Scorpio squares Jupiter and Mars in Leo, the whole trio at the square. Fire and water press against each other at the end of the season's story, and what you have been carrying through Scorpio season reaches its decision point.

Think about the person you were on October 3, when Venus began her retrograde, and everything that has moved since. These are the weeks when the sky asks you to place yourself on the map. Where have you been, and where is your life asking you to go?

Destiny rarely arrives as a lightning bolt. It arrives as a quiet certainty, a person who appears at the right time, a door that opens just when you were ready to stop knocking. It also arrives as the thing you can no longer do, the yes you can no longer give to what drains you.

Stay available to both. Let the Sun's square to the nodes show you what to leave behind and what to walk toward, and trust the first thing that feels true. On November 17, when the square is exact, give yourself one hour that belongs to no one. Light a candle. Sit with a notebook. Write two lists: what is complete, and what is calling. Let the lists be short and honest.

The nodes hold the long view of your life. In the middle of the noise of Mars and Jupiter and the retrograde, they offer a clear line through the center of it all. What you leave behind makes room for what is arriving. By the time the Sun leaves the nodes on November 21, you will carry a sharper sense of direction than you had when the window opened on November 5. Trust it. It is yours.

ZODIAC SIGNS MOST AFFECTED

The fixed signs feel this season the most: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Taurus holds the Full Moon. Leo holds Mars, Jupiter, and the south node. Scorpio holds the Sun, Mercury, and the heart of the story. Aquarius holds Pluto. If you are one of these signs, you have felt this season in your body already.

Aries needs to pay attention too, because Mars rules Aries, and Mars is at the center of the meeting in Leo. Sagittarius needs the same attention, because Jupiter rules Sagittarius.

For Aries and Sagittarius, the invitation is to watch for excess and for being overly optimistic. Big feelings will make everything look possible. Take a breath before you say yes, before you spend, before you promise, and before you leap.

Whichever sign you are, you have the whole map now. Let the dates guide you.

CLOSE

Every date we walked through is a doorway. On October 23, you meet your power. On October 24, you begin closing a cycle. On October 25, the truth steps into the light. On October 30, you choose your words. On November 8, you begin again. On November 13, the fog lifts. On November 15, the fire meets itself. On November 17, destiny turns to look at you.

You do not have to move through any of it perfectly. You only have to stay present and honest, and let the season work.

And if you want to understand how all of this is moving through your personal chart — which houses these transits are activating, what they are asking of you specifically — I am available for personal chart readings at naramon.com.
