I am here to share with you my views on the Barbault Basket, the most important astrological configuration of the century. There is a frequency that has been running beneath every single thing that has happened in our lifetime.

Beneath the wars, the revolutions, the technological upheavals, the spiritual awakenings, the collapses, the reinventions. There has been a single unbroken harmonic energy beneath it all. Most people have never heard of it. Even many astrologers rarely talk about it because it moves so slowly that it can feel invisible.

I'm talking about the sextile between Neptune and Pluto, two of the outermost planets in our solar system, and it has been active for the entire 20th century and into this one. That means every human being alive today has lived their entire life inside this frequency. It has shaped geopolitics, spirituality, technology, and the evolution of human consciousness itself, and most of us have no idea it's happening.

But here is what is different about right now. In July of 2026, specifically around July 18th, that slow, invisible background frequency gets activated by every other outer planet simultaneously. Jupiter joins the configuration, and when it does, a pattern forms that the great French astrologer, Andre Barbault, identified decades ago and called The Basket.

Barbault was not a casual observer. He was one of the most rigorous mundane astrologers of the twentieth century. He's the man who called the COVID-19 pandemic years before it happened. He was that precise, and among his most significant predictions was his identification of this exact configuration, and he described it as the most beneficial astrological configuration of the century.

In his own words, he called it a splendid relaunch of civilization. That's what we're talking about today because it's a pretty big deal in the astrology. Before we go into what each planet means and how it affects the world, I want to make sure you actually understand what you're looking at because the geometry of this configuration is what makes it so extraordinary.

What The Baskety Actually Is

A basket, also called the cradle, is a traditional aspect pattern in astrology, and it's a specific shape that has a specific meaning as well. And here's how it works. You have an opposition: two planets sitting directly across from each other in July; that opposition is formed by Jupiter in Leo and retrograde Pluto in Aquarius.

That's kind of the container, or think of it as like the handle of the basket held open, creating structure and tension simultaneously. On one side of that opposition, you have Uranus in Gemini forming a sextile, a sixty-degree angle, to both Jupiter and Neptune on the other side. Neptune in Aries forms a sextile to both Uranus and Pluto.

So we have, like, the basket. And then, there are also two trines. So Jupiter forms a trine with Neptune, and Uranus forms a trine with Pluto. So the shape you get is one opposition holding the thing open, three sextiles and two trines forming the body of a basket beneath it.

It is a supportive aspect that, even though it has a little bit of tension, is mainly positive. Now, here is the part that makes this configuration genuinely unprecedented.

The Neptune-Pluto sextile, the background frequency I mentioned, has been running for over a century. Uranus entered Gemini fully pretty recently, this year in April, and joined the minor grand trine with Neptune and Pluto. But Jupiter moves through a sign approximately every twelve to thirteen months.

For Jupiter to arrive in Leo and complete this precise four-planet basket at exact four degrees, it's pretty rare, and this convergence, as far as we know, hasn't occurred in recorded history. So this is not hyperbole; this is geometry, and it is a big deal because it's sacred geometry.

The Number Four and the Uranian Paradox

All four planets meet at four degrees, and that number is not incidental. In Western numerology, four is associated with the planet Uranus. It symbolizes innovation, unexpected shifts, and a drive to create structural change. The number four is the revolutionary hiding inside the blueprint. It looks like a foundation. It behaves like a spark. In more ancient astrology, like Vedic astrology, this number is connected to Rahu, the north node of the moon. And so there are these futuristic visions that are not moving in straight lines, and neither does revolution.

In the tarot, four is the emperor, the archetype of structure, authority, organization, and the solid architect of power. He establishes order. He defines the rules. So here is the paradox at the heart of the configuration. Four degrees, four planets, the emperor's number, the revolutionary number, and the north node, which is considered to be a shadow archetype in Vedic astrology.

So this basket, it's not just asking us to dream of a new world. It is asking us to build one. But the tools of the old world are exactly what Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto have been dismantling for years. What four degrees is telling us is that the construction and the demolition are happening at the same time.

The foundation is being poured into the rubble. The new architecture rises from what the old one could not sustain. Rahu's presence in this number reminds us that the path forward will not be linear. There will be illusion mixed within the genius. There will be ambition that overshoots its mark. The genius of this configuration is that Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and expansion, is holding the container.

It is the checkpoint. Discernment will matter enormously. Let us look at what each planet is actually activating at the collective level.

The Four Planets, Four Signs, Four Frequencies

Let's pull this apart so we can better understand the complexity of it, because it's quite complex. Jupiter in Leo. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, abundance, wisdom, and opportunity.

In Leo, the sign of self, the creative self-expression of authentic visibility, Jupiter is asking the collective a fundamental question: What does it mean to truly shine? At the collective level, this is an era of radical authenticity. The mask is coming off, not just for individuals, but for institutions, for leaders, for public figures.

Leo energy demands that what presents itself as luminous actually is luminous. There is no room in Jupiter in Leo for performed greatness. Only the real thing survives the light. This is also an era of creative renaissance. Leo rules art, self-expression, the courage to be seen. With Jupiter expanding that frequency, we are entering a period where individual creative voice actually becomes very significant culturally, and it hasn't happened in over a decade.

And sitting right directly in opposition to Pluto in Aquarius, Jupiter in Leo is the force that will change collective power. The tension between the sovereign individual and the collective system is a defining opposition of this configuration. The container of the basket is built on that tension; Pluto will be retrograde in Aquarius when this occurs.

Pluto is transformation at the deepest, most irreversible level. In Aquarius, the sign of collective systems, technology, community, and the future, Pluto has been and continues to dismantle the architecture of how we organize ourselves as a civilization. Pluto retrograde means this transformation is happening from within.

The collapse is not being imposed from outside. It is emerging from internal pressure. The systems that cannot sustain themselves are revealing their own fractures. And because Pluto in Aquarius governs collective power structures, this retrograde period is one of deep reckoning within institutions, governments, and leadership structures worldwide.

Toward the end of 2026 and into 2027, as this configuration reaches its full expression, we're likely to see significant unseating of world leaders and the power structures that have held them in place. Pluto does not negotiate. It transforms, and what cannot evolve in the new frequency simply ceases to hold its position.

Now let's talk about Uranus in Gemini. Uranus is revolution, liberation, the sudden irreversible breakthrough. In Gemini, the sign of the mind, of communication, of information, Uranus is rewiring the collective mind. We are in the middle of a revolution in how humans think. Not just what we think about, but how we architect our thoughts.

How information is processed, shared, valued, and trusted in the world. The sextile between Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries is particularly significant. These two planets in a collaborative aspect create what can only be described as an awakening to truth, a collective capacity to see through illusion that has not been available before.

The Gemini mind, sharpened and electrified by Uranus, meets the Aries spiritual warrior of Neptune. So this is not just about new ideas; it is about gaining clarity about our reality. Neptune in Aries. Neptune dissolves. It also dreams and inspires, and it connects us to something larger than the individual self.

In Pisces, where Neptune spent the last fourteen years, that dissolution was inward, oceanic, diffused. In Aries, everything changes. Neptune in Aries is the birth of a new spiritual identity for humanity. Aries doesn't wait; it doesn't hesitate; it charges forward. And Neptune here is asking the collective to act on its dreams rather than simply hold them. This is not the spirituality of retreat like it used to be for many years.

This is not contemplative withdrawal. Neptune in Aries is the spirituality of action, of moving towards the future rather than waiting for the vision to become safe. The dissolution that Neptune always brings is now dissolving our collective hesitation. Neptune in Aries says, "Let's go. Let's act on our dreams and sense of spirituality."

So what does all of this mean taken together? Barbault described this configuration as the end of a long, chaotic cycle and the beginning of a more constructive era. He was writing from the perspective of mundane astrology, the astrology of civilizations, of collective movements, of collective turning points.

And what he identified is that when these four planets come into this precise harmonic relationship, something shifts at a huge magnifying level. Think about what the last several years have felt like: the dissolution, the confusion, the sense that all certainties are no longer certain, the institutions that no longer feel trustworthy.

There are narratives that can no longer hold in people's minds, so there's a feeling of instability. That destabilization was not random. It was a preparation for this. Pluto in Aquarius has been clearing the field. Uranus in Gemini has been rewriting the transmission lines. Neptune in Aries has been dissolving the fear that stood between us and the next version of ourselves.

And now Jupiter in Leo throws open the container and says, "The time for clearing is complete. What are you building now?" The basket is not a passive configuration. It does not simply happen to you. It is an invitation, a convergence of energies that makes certain kinds of movement more possible than they have ever been.

It's a creative renaissance, authentic leadership, revolutionary ideas that can actually take root. Collective systems were built around human dignity rather than inherited hierarchy. A spirituality that moves rather than retreats.
