This is the transcript of my YouTube video.
Venus went retrograde on October 3rd. And when she did, I told you it was going to be intense. Retrograde Venus pulls us inward — into the places where we have been settling, the relationships we have been tolerating, the version of love or money or self-worth that we accepted because we thought it was the best we could do. Venus retrograde forces an honest look. That was the work of October.
And then, this past weekend — right at the Full Moon in Taurus — Venus crossed back into Libra.
Libra is the sign Venus rules. It is her home. And in the sky right now, what that means is this: the planet of love, beauty, money, and justice is now moving backward through the sign of the scales. Through the sign that has ruled courts and contracts and the careful weighing of what is fair since the beginning of astrological time.
Between now and November 13th, when Venus stations direct, we are in the most meaningful stretch of this entire retrograde. The work you have been doing — all of that going within, all of that honest examination — this is when it begins to crystallize into something real.
The Venus Retrograde 2026 in Context: Why This Ending Matters
I said something in my original Venus retrograde video that I want to return to now, because this is the moment it becomes true.
Venus went retrograde in Scorpio on October 3rd. She began in Scorpio — the sign of transformation, depth, the hidden and the underworld. That beginning was intentional. The retrograde that starts in Scorpio is asking you to go into the places you would rather not look. The relationship patterns you inherited. The way you learned to value yourself. The compromise you have been calling acceptance.
If you have not watched that video, the link is in the description — I broke down the full retrograde cycle, what it means by sign, and what October was here to show us.
But here is what I also said then: Venus retrograde began and will end in degrees ruled by Venus herself. What that means astrologically is that the entire arc of this retrograde — no matter how heavy October felt — was always designed to pay off. The work of going within, of embracing the transformation that retrograde Venus demands, always returns a reward. That is built into the architecture of this particular retrograde.
And now we are in it. Venus is back in Libra — her own sign — moving backward but moving toward the moment of stillness and rebirth that November 13th brings.
On November 4th, before she stations direct, Venus forms a sextile to Jupiter. A sextile to Jupiter is one of the most genuinely generous aspects in the sky — expansive, optimistic, full of possibility. After the intensity of October, this aspect arrives like a breath of actual air. In love and finances especially, something opens up around November 4th. Pay attention to what arrives, what becomes available, what shifts toward the easier and the more abundant.
And then November 13th. Venus stations direct at 22 degrees and 51 minutes of Libra — conjunct two of the most powerful fixed stars in the sky — while forming a configuration with Mars, Jupiter, and the nodes of destiny that we are going to unpack fully. But first, the stars.
Spica and Arcturus: The Two Stars at the Venus Direct Station
There are fixed stars whose presence in a chart changes everything. Stars that are not background scenery but active forces — ancient, powerful, and with a very specific kind of transmission. Two of those stars are sitting right where Venus stations direct on November 13th.
The first is Spica.
Spica sits at 24 degrees and 33 minutes of Libra in the tropical zodiac. In the constellation Virgo, it marks the ear of wheat held in the maiden's hand — the harvest itself. And if you want to understand Spica, you have to understand what the harvest meant to the ancient world. The harvest was not just food. It was survival. It was the moment when all of the labor, all of the patience, all of the tending through difficulty returned as abundance. You could not rush it. You could not force it. You could only do the work and trust the timing.
This is Spica. It is rooted in the mythology of every harvest goddess — Demeter, Ceres, Isis, Inanna. These are not soft, gentle figures. These are forces that descended into the underworld and returned. That grieved and kept moving. That understood that the most extraordinary abundance requires the willingness to go through something first.
Classically, Spica carries the combined energy of Venus and Mars — the beauty and receptivity of Venus with the drive and vitality of Mars — and some traditional texts also blend Mercury and Jupiter into its nature. It is associated with gifts, with innate talent, with renown, with public appreciation. When Spica is activated in a chart, particularly when it connects with personal planets or angles, it confers the sense that what you have been building has finally been seen and recognized. The work is rewarded. The talent is acknowledged. The harvest arrives.
There is only one traditional caution with Spica: the risk of complacency, of resting on natural gifts rather than continuing to cultivate them. But you have just been through a Venus retrograde in Scorpio. Complacency is not what October produced. What October produced is exactly the kind of honest, serious, deep-reaching work that Spica rewards.
The second star is Arcturus.
Arcturus sits at 24 degrees of Libra — practically conjunct Spica, and both within close range of Venus as she stations direct. Arcturus is one of the brightest stars in the northern sky. Its name comes from the Greek Arktouros — the guardian, the watcher, the one who stands at the threshold and protects what is behind it.
In traditional astrology, Arcturus carries a Mars-Jupiter nature. Mars's drive, enterprise, and forward momentum combined with Jupiter's expansion, honor, and prosperity. The keywords that have followed Arcturus through centuries of astrological tradition are: pathfinding, leadership, independent enterprise, self-made success, and the custody of wealth and public trust. This is a star associated with people who forge their own road — not the established path, not the route that was handed to them, but the one they built through their own vision, courage, and willingness to go first.
In modern and esoteric traditions, Arcturus carries additional layers. It is associated with protection, with steady guidance through uncertainty, with the bridging of divides. In galactic astrology, Arcturus is connected to higher science — to innovation, to the kind of intelligence that arrives from beyond what we currently understand. In metaphysical traditions it is linked to emotional balance, to the capacity to hold peace in the middle of transformation.
Now. Venus stations direct conjunct both Spica and Arcturus on November 13th.
The harvest goddess and the guardian pathfinder. Earned abundance and the courage to lead. The reward of deep, patient work and the star that watches over those who build something new. Both of them meeting Venus — the planet of love, beauty, value, and everything we hold precious — at the exact moment she shifts direction and begins moving forward again.
Libra, Justice, and What Is Moving in the World
I want to say something about what Venus retrograding through Libra means in the world, because astrology is not only personal. It is always also reflecting what is happening collectively.
Libra is the sign of justice. Of the scales. Of the careful, impartial weighing of what is fair and what is not. When Venus — the ruler of Libra — moves backward through this sign, the scales become visible in a way they are not at other times. What is truly in balance shows itself. What is not in balance also shows itself.
We are watching a wave of justice move through the world right now. I believe more of it is coming. And what this Venus retrograde in Libra is asking of all of us — collectively and personally — is to act from our values. To let what we believe about fairness, about equality, about what we deserve and what others deserve, guide the choices we make. Not as an abstract principle. As a lived practice.
The scales are visible right now. The question Venus in Libra is always asking is: what are you doing with what you can see?
The Role of the Nodes of Destiny
Here is what makes November 13th even more extraordinary.
As Venus shifts into forward motion conjunct Spica and Arcturus, she is forming a sextile to Mars and Jupiter in Leo — and a trine to the North Node of destiny in Aquarius. The South Node of destiny is in Leo with Mars and Jupiter. The North Node is in Aquarius, directly across the sky.
The nodes of destiny are the axis of fate in the chart. The South Node carries the past — what has been built, accumulated, earned across long cycles. The North Node holds the future — the evolutionary direction, the path forward. When Venus at the harvest star trines the North Node, she is not just arriving. She is pointing. The gifts that come through this station are not random. They are directional. They belong to the future you are being asked to build.
And feel the elements here. Venus in Libra — air. Mars and Jupiter in Leo — fire. North Node in Aquarius — air again. Air and fire. The breath and the flame. Venus at Spica feeding that Leo fire of ambition, generosity, and creative power, pointing it all toward the Aquarian future.
As I pointed out in my Scorpio season video, the Sun in Scorpio is currently squaring the nodes of destiny. We have come full circle since the last eclipses in Leo. Whatever was seeded then — whatever began, whatever was set in motion in the territory of Leo — is completing its cycle right now and delivering its fruit. Destiny is not a word I use lightly. But this configuration earns it.
What Is Now Possible as Venus Goes Direct on November 13
So what does all of this actually open? What can you genuinely expect from this station?
In love and relationships: Venus direct after a retrograde through Scorpio and Libra is one of the more significant relationship shifts of the year. Whatever was unclear — whether something was moving forward, whether a wound could actually heal, whether something new could genuinely begin — that fog lifts as Venus shifts direction. The South Node in Leo brings back the warmth, the magnanimity, the creative spark that Leo carries in relationships. Connections that went quiet may resurface. Things that felt stuck begin to breathe again. And with Spica at the station, what opens in love is not a consolation. It is the real thing — the harvest of the honest work done in October.
In money and finances: Spica is the reward of cultivated talent and patient labor. Arcturus is self-made success, independent enterprise, the custody of wealth that comes to those who forge their own path. Both at a Venus station direct, sextile Jupiter — the planet of abundance and expansion — is one of the more genuinely promising configurations for financial movement you will see this year. If you have been waiting for an opportunity to open, for recognition to arrive in a form that changes your financial picture, for the right offer or the right door — the window around November 4th and November 13th is when that can happen. Not as wishful thinking. As a real energetic opening.
In creative work and public life: This is where the Arcturus energy becomes personal for anyone who has been building something outside the established path. Arcturus is the pathfinder star. It belongs to those who built their career, their creative life, their body of work on their own terms. If you have been doing that — if you have been creating something that did not have a clear precedent, following a vision that others did not immediately understand — this station is speaking directly to you. Mars and Jupiter in Leo, sextile Venus at Arcturus and Spica: fire and ambition and the harvest of independent creative vision. Visibility is possible now in a way it has not been all retrograde. Recognition from the right people. A shift in how you are seen.
And at the broadest level: the trine to the North Node means that what arrives through this station is not a detour. It is alignment. The love, the money, the creative recognition, the shift in direction that comes through November 13th — those are pieces of a larger map pointing toward where you are genuinely meant to go. The harvest does not only look back at what you have already built. It shows you what you are now capable of building next.
Conclusion
Venus retrograde ends November 13th — conjunct Spica and Arcturus, sextile Mars and Jupiter in Leo, trine the North Node of destiny. Two fixed stars, the nodes of fate, and the harvest station of a retrograde that asked everything of you in October.
