Sagittarius Season 2026—Lightning Strikes, a Wild Full Moon, and the Dates You Need

This is the transcript of my YouTube video.

If you watched my Scorpio season video, you know that the last several weeks held two retrogrades, a Taurus full moon that pulled what was hidden into full view, and a stretch of November when Mars, Jupiter, and the south node of destiny traveled together in Leo. That Leo trio was not just a Scorpio season story. It was a preview. Those themes — big emotion, big action, old stories rising from the past — they are the opening chapter of 2027. The fire energy you felt in November is not leaving. It is arriving.

Now the Sun enters Sagittarius, and the fire continues, but it moves differently here. Scorpio's fire burns inward. Sagittarius's fire burns toward the horizon. Scorpio asks what is true. Sagittarius asks what is possible.

This is a season of expansion, of movement, of the kind of restlessness that comes not from anxiety but from genuine aliveness. The archer's arrow points forward, and after everything Scorpio season asked you to feel and face and release, forward is exactly where the sky now wants to take you.

But I want to be clear about something: this is a busy, busy season. The number of significant transits between November 21 and December 21 is unusually high. Planets changing signs, planets stationing, aspects that arrive in clusters. You are going to want these dates. You are going to want to know which weeks to push and which weeks to move carefully.

There is one more thing before we begin the dates. The planet we were working with under Scorpio season — without always naming it directly — was Pluto. Mercury retrograde activated it, Venus activated it, the full moon squared it. The underworld and its lord were the hidden current of everything. This solar season, the planet underneath all of it is Uranus — the great liberator, the planet of sudden awakening, revolution, and the kind of change that cannot be undone once it begins. Everything that happens between now and December 21 carries that electric, liberating Uranian charge in its bones. Watch for it.

Let's walk through this season together, one date at a time.

NOVEMBER 21 — SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS

When the Sun enters Sagittarius on November 21, it immediately moves into opposition with retrograde Uranus in Gemini, and you feel it in your body before you can explain it.

This opening stretch — from November 21 through November 30 — is one of the most electrically charged windows of the season. The Sun opposing Uranus is restless, surprising, and charged with the need to break free from whatever has been confining. If Scorpio season asked you to go deep and sit still, Sagittarius season's opening act wants you to move, to question, to break through a ceiling you have been standing under.

But there is more in the sky on the day the Sun enters Sagittarius than just Uranus. The Sun also sextiles Pluto in Aquarius and trines Neptune in Aries. That is three simultaneous connections: Uranus, Pluto, Neptune — the outer planets, the generational planets, the ones that move the collective. When the Sun lights up all three at once, what you are feeling is not personal. It is planetary. It is the signal that something large is in motion, and that you are part of it.

The sextile to Pluto brings depth and transformative power to the beginning of the season. What you uncovered in Scorpio season is now yours to use. The trine to Neptune in Aries opens a doorway to spiritual clarity and inspired action — a rare combination, since Neptune usually dissolves more than it directs. For these days, though, Neptune's dissolution works in your favor. What you release now dissolves cleanly, making room for what is arriving.

The opposition to Uranus is the loudest voice of the three. Expect the unexpected. This week brings surprises, disruptions to plans, and sudden clarity about things you thought you had figured out. Some of those surprises will feel like interruptions. Look twice, because Uranus's surprises have a way of turning out to be exactly what was needed.

Stay flexible. If a plan changes, ask what the change is pointing toward. If something unexpected arrives — an opportunity, a conversation, a realization — treat it as information before you decide what to do with it.

The archer has just drawn back the bow. The first days of Sagittarius season are the moment before the arrow flies.

The Sun's opposition to Uranus will be felt through November 30, so this electric quality is not a single day. It is the texture of the season's opening. Nine days of restlessness, surprise, and the need to move. Nine days where the horizon calls louder than it has in weeks.

If you have planets in the mutable signs — Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces — especially between 2 and 8 degrees, this opposition speaks directly to your chart. The great liberator and the Sun are pulling at you personally.

NOVEMBER 24 — FULL MOON IN GEMINI

The full moon on November 24th arrives at 6:53 in the morning, Pacific time, and when it does, the sky is doing something I have not seen in a very long time.

This is not a quiet full moon. This is not a moon that asks you to light a candle and journal. This full moon is activating every outer planet simultaneously — conjunct Uranus, trine Pluto, sextile Neptune, sextile Saturn — and the word I keep coming back to is: electric. The kind of electric that moves through the body before it moves through the mind.

Let's start with what a Gemini full moon does on its own, before we add the outer planet symphony. The full moon in Gemini illuminates everything the Sun in Sagittarius is questioning — where information has been scattered versus synthesized, where the mind has been moving too fast to integrate what it has found, where you have been saying too much or not enough. Sagittarius wants the big truth. Gemini has accumulated all the data. The full moon is the moment they face each other, and something becomes visible in the light between them.

Now add Uranus conjunct this moon. The moon sitting directly on Uranus — the great liberator, the planet of sudden awakening and revolution — is one of the most charged lunations possible. Emotions arrive suddenly and without warning. Realizations drop in from nowhere. What you thought you felt about something shifts completely, and the new understanding feels both foreign and undeniable. Under a Uranus conjunction, the full moon does not just reveal what has been building — it breaks something open that was sealed.

The trine to Pluto in Aquarius adds transformative depth. What is broken open is not random. It is exactly what needs transformation. Pluto's trine to the full moon gives the intensity of this lunation a place to go — a channel for the charge to run through, a path from crisis to metamorphosis. This is not the kind of full moon where things fall apart and stay apart. Things fall apart and reform as something that could not have existed in the previous shape.

The sextiles to Neptune and Saturn arriving together are the balancing energy of this full moon — Neptune bringing spiritual perception, the capacity to feel what cannot be explained; Saturn bringing structure, gravity, the reminder that what breaks open must eventually be built into something. Neptune softens what Uranus cracks open. Saturn holds what remains after the opening.

The signs most activated by this full moon: Gemini and Sagittarius, obviously. But with Uranus conjunct the moon in Gemini, Taurus and Aquarius also feel this in their bones — Taurus because Uranus is in its sign this year, and the full moon in Gemini activates that Uranus from close range; Aquarius because Pluto is there, and its trine to the moon is the channel through which the transformation runs.

What to do with this full moon: feel it. Do not try to manage it or contain it. The mistake under Uranus conjunct moon is treating the electricity as a problem to solve. It is not a problem. It is information arriving through a channel that bypasses the logical mind. What you feel on the morning of November 24th — before you have explained it to yourself — is the real message.

Let it arrive. Write down what comes. The integration can happen afterward.

A full moon conjunct Uranus is not an event you plan around. It is an event that plans around you. Clear your schedule as much as you can on November 24th, or at minimum, hold the morning lightly. What arrives may change the direction of the week.

NOVEMBER 25 — MARS ENTERS VIRGO

When Mars enters Virgo on November 25, a new chapter begins — and this one has more complexity to it than a typical Mars ingress.

Normally, Mars spends about eight weeks in each sign. That is not what is happening here. Mars enters Virgo now, and because Mars is going to go retrograde in early 2027, it will stay in this sign far longer than eight weeks. I am going to be doing an interview with a very special guest about what that Mars retrograde means — that video will be up next week — and if you want the full map of how to navigate it, my 2027 annual product covers it in depth.

For now: what does Mars in Virgo mean, and why does it matter that it is here for so long?

Mars in Virgo is not the fire of Leo or the charge of Aries. This is focused, analytical, diligent Mars. The energy here is precise. It wants to perfect, to refine, to do the work carefully and thoroughly. Mars in Virgo does not rush. It assesses. It makes the plan, then executes the plan, then evaluates how well the plan worked.

The highest, deepest expression of Virgo is healing — specifically, healing of the physical body. When Mars, the planet of energy and drive, moves through this territory, there is a natural pull toward the body. How you are using your energy. What your physical health is asking of you. Where your daily habits are serving you and where they are not.

Pay attention to what this ingress signals in your life. Mars entering a new sign often marks the beginning of a new chapter in that sign's territory — your work, your routines, your health practices. What begins around November 25 may be the beginning of something you will be working with well into 2027.

Watch your body. Watch your energy levels. Watch what starts feeling urgent to fix, refine, or heal. Mars in Virgo will show you where to aim the arrow of your effort.

Mars will be in Virgo for the rest of this season and into the new year. The story it begins here is a long one. Notice its first chapter carefully.

If you are a Virgo rising or Virgo sun, this is your personal activation — Mars in your sign brings energy, drive, and the momentum to move on whatever you have been preparing. The preparation of Scorpio season is meeting the action energy of Mars.

NOVEMBER 28 — VENUS SEXTILE JUPITER

When Venus sextiles Jupiter in Leo on November 28, something genuinely good arrives.

You may remember that Venus formed this exact same sextile on November 4th, while she was still retrograde. That day was the most generous aspect of the entire Venus retrograde — a breath of real air in the middle of an intense and inward cycle.

Now Venus is direct. She is moving forward; she has cleared the fog of the retrograde, and she is forming the same sextile again from a completely different position. The first time, the door opened a crack. This time, it opens fully.

If you watched my Venus direct video — the one about Venus stationing direct conjunct the lucky fixed stars Spica and Arcturus — this is the continuation of that story. Venus went direct on November 13th aligned with two of the most benefic stars in the sky, and now she sextiles Jupiter from that position. The harvest star meeting the planet of expansion. If something shifted in your love life, your finances, or your sense of possibility around November 13th, November 28th is where it moves another step forward.

The signs most likely to feel this most directly: Taurus and Libra rising, both ruled by Venus. Sagittarius rising, ruled by Jupiter. If any of these are your chart, this day brings a genuinely favorable wind.

The shadow of this day is Venus opposing Chiron — the same opposition that happened on October 28th, during the retrograde. The first time it occurred, it may have opened a wound in love or in self-worth. This time, with Venus direct and aligned with Spica's harvest energy, the wound and the gift exist side by side. Something that hurt can begin to show its other face.

Feel the whole day. The sextile and the opposition together are asking you to hold both: the abundance that is arriving, and the tenderness that is not yet fully healed.

This is a good day to revisit something you began or decided on November 13th. What intention did you set when Venus went direct? What shifted in a relationship or a financial situation? November 28th is the day that movement goes further.

NOVEMBER 29 — URANUS SEXTILE PLUTO

November 29th is a date I want you to pay real attention to, because what happens in the sky on this day is not personal. It is generational.

Uranus in Gemini sextiles Pluto in Aquarius on November 29th, and if you watched my Barbault's Basket video, you know exactly what this means. The Basket — the most significant astrological configuration of the century — set this in motion. Uranus and Pluto are two of the four planets that formed the Basket, and their aspects to each other over the coming years are part of the structural transformation of our world.

This sextile on November 29th is the second of five exact contacts between Uranus and Pluto. There are three more coming in 2027. This is one of the defining aspects of 2026 through 2028 — not just one transit, but a repeated activation that is rewriting collective reality across this entire period.

The themes of Uranus sextile Pluto: revolution, technology, freedom, rebellion, and innovation. Uranus in Gemini is the rewiring of how information moves, how minds connect, how we communicate and think collectively. Pluto in Aquarius is the transformation of systems — political, social, technological — from the ground up. When these two planets form a harmonious aspect, the revolution finds a path. The innovation finds its structure. The liberation finds the door.

A sextile is not the intensity of a square or the tension of an opposition. It is a trine's quieter cousin — opportunity, flow, the kind of change that can be worked with rather than simply endured. This is not the aspect of a sudden explosion. It is the aspect of a door that is genuinely open, if you are willing to walk through it.

Watch the news around November 29th. Watch the technology sector, the political landscape, the conversations about freedom and collective systems that have been building. What you see happening in the world on this day is a chapter in the long story the Basket began.

And personally: Uranus rules your Aquarius house, Pluto rules your Scorpio house. The sextile between them is a moment when transformation and liberation can work together in your chart. What is being freed in you? What is being transformed? Those questions have a collective answer and a personal one, and both are real.

This aspect repeats three more times in 2027. What you notice on November 29th — in the world and in yourself — is the beginning of a longer thread. Write it down. When the third, fourth, and fifth contacts arrive, you will want to remember where this one began.

NOVEMBER 30 AND DECEMBER 1 — SUN TRINE SATURN AND CHIRON

When the Sun in Sagittarius trines retrograde Saturn and retrograde Chiron on November 30th and December 1st, something from the past arrives to be seen differently.

Trines are aspects of flow, of ease, of things that move naturally toward each other without force. When the Sun trines Saturn, there is a sense of support — something you have been building earns a moment of solid ground. When the Sun trines Chiron, what has been wounded is given the chance to become wisdom.

But I want to be clear: even though these are trines, Saturn and Chiron are not light archetypes. Saturn is time, consequence, and the weight of what has been built or neglected. Chiron is the wound that cannot be fully healed but can be transformed into the deepest kind of wisdom. When the Sun lights up both of them in a trine, what opens is not necessarily comfortable. It is healing. Those are not the same thing.

This two-day window opens what I would call a deep healing corridor. Something from the past — a situation, a wound, a chapter you thought was closed — comes back up, but this time the angle is different. The trine does not force the confrontation the way a square would. It offers the gentler path: a new way of understanding what happened, a reframe that was not available to you when you were in the middle of it.

Both Saturn and Chiron are retrograde. That means they are interior, integrative, turned inward. The Sun shining on them from Sagittarius brings the light of perspective — Sagittarius is the sign of the philosopher, the teacher, the one who stands far enough back from the story to see its meaning. The Sun here is offering you that distance.

Use these two days. If something from the past rises, let it. Ask what it looks like from here, with everything you now know. That question, held with gentleness, is the work.

The window of November 20th through December 6th is a volatile stretch overall. The trine to Saturn and Chiron on November 30th and December 1st is the quieter passage in the middle of it. Take the quieter days when the sky offers them.

DECEMBER 3 — MERCURY SQUARES JUPITER AND THE SOUTH NODE

When Mercury in Scorpio — now direct — squares Jupiter and the south node of destiny in Leo on December 3rd, things get loud.

I will be direct about this one: Mercury square Jupiter and the south node is the kind of aspect that can make you lose your mind to some drama. Jupiter amplifies everything it touches, and the south node in Leo already carries big, theatrical energy. When Mercury — the planet of communication, information, and the mind — squares both of them, the communication that comes through is amplified past its actual size. Things get exaggerated. Reactions get oversized. A piece of information that might be a minor thing becomes a major thing, because Jupiter is at the other end of it.

Watch for drama arriving through news, through a conversation, through social media, through something a person in your life says. The drama may not be invented — there may be real information here — but Mercury square Jupiter inflates whatever it touches, so the first version of the story is almost certainly bigger than the final version.

The south node in Leo adds a karmic quality. Old patterns of communication rise. Old ways of exaggerating, of performing, of saying things for effect rather than for truth. The shadow of Leo's Mercury is the speech that plays to the audience rather than the speech that speaks the truth.

Move slowly through these days. If something feels urgent enough to respond to immediately, wait. The Mercury retrograde taught you this — the second draft is almost always better than the first. That wisdom is still relevant here, even though Mercury is now direct. Let the initial flare of information or reaction settle before you act on it.

Watch for the drama. Watch for the exaggeration. And under all of it, look for the real thing — because there usually is one.

The week of December 1st through December 6th asks for careful movement. The trine to Saturn and Chiron offered a healing corridor on November 30th. Mercury square Jupiter on the 3rd brings the noise. Hold both.

DECEMBER 4 — MARS SQUARES URANUS AND VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO

December 4th carries two significant shifts, and together they make this one of the most electrically charged days of the season.

The first: Mars in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini.

This aspect has been building since Mars entered Virgo on November 25th, and you may have felt its static all week — an edge in the air, a low-level restlessness, the sense that something is about to change but you cannot yet see what. On December 4th, it becomes exact.

Mars square Uranus is one of the most impulsive aspects in the sky. Mars wants action. Uranus wants revolution. When they square, the action happens before the plan is fully formed, and the revolution arrives before you are ready for it. Surprises. Disruptions to what you thought was settled. A sudden urge to break from what you have been doing and do something completely different.

This aspect asks for deliberate slowness. I know that sounds counterintuitive when the energy is pushing you to move — but Mars square Uranus is exactly where impulsive action creates the most damage. Move carefully. Thread carefully. If something unexpected happens, treat it as information before you treat it as an emergency.

The mental stimulation of this day can also be extraordinary. Uranus rules breakthrough thinking, and Mars gives it urgency. Some of the most electric creative insights arrive under Mars-Uranus squares. If you feel the charge running through your mind on December 4th, write it down before you act on it.

The second shift: Venus re-enters Scorpio.

Venus spent the first part of her retrograde in Scorpio — from October 3rd through October 25th — and that was where the deep excavation happened. The power dynamics, the hidden truths, the things that needed to surface from the underworld of your relationships and your desires.

Now Venus re-enters Scorpio as a changed planet. She went through the retrograde. She spent time in Libra finding her balance and her harvest. And now she returns to Scorpio carrying the wisdom of everything she found.

This ingress can feel like an aha moment — a sudden clarity about love, money, power dynamics, and intimacy. The Venus retrograde brought it all out. It is over. And now Venus, moving forward and clear-eyed, walks back into the territory of her transformation and sees it differently.

Watch what surfaces on December 4th about a relationship, a financial situation, or a dynamic that the Venus retrograde put under the light. The return is not the same as the retreat.

Venus will begin squaring Pluto from Scorpio, with the exact square on December 9th. This is the third of three Venus-Pluto squares this year. The first was September 15th, before the retrograde began. The second was October 20th, while Venus was retrograde. This third one, on December 9th, is after Venus has gone direct, cleared the retrograde, and returned to Scorpio with full awareness.

If the first two squares brought a crisis in love, money, or power — and they may well have — December 9th may carry the resolution of it.

DECEMBER 6 — MERCURY ENTERS SAGITTARIUS AND THE DARK MOON BEGINS

December 6th brings two things: Mercury entering Sagittarius, and the dark moon beginning.

Mercury enters Sagittarius, and the planet of the mind moves into its least comfortable territory — not because Sagittarius lacks intelligence, but because Mercury wants precision, detail, and careful thinking, while Sagittarius wants the overview, the big idea, the horizon. Mercury in Sagittarius thinks in sweeping strokes. It wants to know everything and say everything, often at once. The nuance suffers. The enthusiasm soars.

The gift of Mercury in Sagittarius is exactly that expansion — a mind that wants to travel, to learn, to reach beyond its current edges. For the next few weeks, let your thinking stretch. Read something outside your usual territory. Have the conversation that takes you somewhere you did not expect to go. Mercury in Sagittarius is not the right tool for the fine print. It is exactly the right tool for the question you have been afraid to ask because it is too large.

Mercury stays in Sagittarius until December 23rd, and during that time it will form a T-square with Uranus in Gemini and Mars in Virgo. That configuration — arriving in the week after Mercury's ingress — will bring revelations, disruptions to what you thought you understood, and the kind of aha moment that reorganizes your thinking. Watch for it.

December 6th is also when the dark moon begins — the final days before the new moon on December 8th. The dark moon is the sky's invitation to let go, to embrace endings, to turn toward what wants to be released before the new cycle begins. This is the time for magic. For the occult. For the rituals of completion and clearing. The dark moon is not for new beginnings — it is for finishing what needs to be finished so that the new moon can begin cleanly.

The dark moon of December 6th and 7th is your clearing window before the new moon. What needs to be released before you can set a new intention? Use these two days for that. Burn the letter, say the goodbye, finish the unfinished sentence. Then let it go.

DECEMBER 8 — NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

When the new moon rises at 16 degrees of Sagittarius on December 8th, the sky offers you a beginning.

16 degrees reduces to 7 — the most spiritual number in numerology, and a deeply Sagittarian theme. Seven carries the energy of inner wisdom, of seeking, of the kind of knowledge that arrives not from study alone but from lived experience. This is a moon for planting an intention that asks for depth as well as expansion.

I want to say something specific about the size of intention I would work with here: set something short and achievable. Something you can actually complete before the year ends. The new moon in Sagittarius is not the place for the ten-year vision. It is the place for the thing you want to begin and finish in the next few weeks, so that you arrive at 2027 with one thing genuinely done.

Look at what the Sun is doing on this day. It is translating light from Saturn to Jupiter — meaning the Sun sits at a point where it connects these two planets in sequence, carrying Saturn's structure and discipline into Jupiter's expansion. What begins at this new moon has that quality: something small and disciplined that opens into something larger. Start the structure so the expansion has something to stand on.

You have this season to work with it. The new moon plants the seed. December 10th, Saturn goes direct. December 12th, Jupiter goes retrograde. Everything that happens between the new moon and the solstice on December 21st is the growing window for whatever you begin on December 8th.

Set the intention. Begin it on December 8th. Let the season carry it.

Write your new moon intention with this question: what do I want to begin and actually complete before January? The word "complete" is important. Sagittarius loves to begin. The discipline of Saturn translating into Jupiter is what makes the beginning stick.

DECEMBER 10 — SATURN GOES DIRECT

When Saturn goes direct at 7 degrees and 55 minutes of Aries on December 10th, a chapter closes.

Three and a half months ago — July 26th — Saturn stationed retrograde at 14 degrees and 45 minutes of Aries. For those months, the planet of time, discipline, and consequence has been moving backward through the cardinal territory of Aries, asking the cardinal signs — Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn — to review. To look honestly at what has been built and what has been avoided. To sit with the karmic adjustments that Saturn in Aries demands.

That window is closing on December 10th.

If you have planets in the early to middle degrees of the cardinal signs — roughly 7 to 15 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn — this retrograde spoke directly to your chart. The question it was asking you is specific to your life, your chart, your circumstances. But the broader question Saturn in Aries asks everyone is this: where are you being impulsive rather than disciplined? Where are you charging forward without the foundation to support it? Where has urgency been substituting for wisdom?

Saturn goes direct now. The review is complete. What you learned during this retrograde period — about structure, about your relationship to discipline, about where you have been avoiding the Saturn work — that knowledge is yours. Take it forward.

This is a good time to revisit what Saturn retrograde taught you for the area of your life ruled by Aries in your chart. If you watched my Saturn retrograde video from July, now is the moment to go back to it with everything you have lived through since then.

Saturn direct is not dramatic. It is solid. It is the feeling of ground under your feet after months of review.

Saturn in Aries continues until 2028. The retrograde was one chapter of that transit. With Saturn now direct, the work moves forward again.

DECEMBER 12 — NEPTUNE GOES DIRECT AND JUPITER GOES RETROGRADE

December 12th brings two planetary stations on the same day, and they pull in opposite directions.

First: Neptune goes direct.

Neptune has been retrograde since the summer, and in its backward movement the celestial hypnotist has been asking you to look honestly at where you have been deceiving yourself. Neptune retrograde is the moment when the fog clears — not to reveal a dream, but to reveal what is actually there. Without the rose-colored glasses.

Now Neptune goes direct, and the rose-colored glasses can come back up. The planet of dreams, of intuition, of spiritual perception and divine inspiration is moving forward again. The imagination is reactivated. The capacity to believe in something before it is fully formed comes back online. For those who work creatively, intuitively, or spiritually, Neptune direct is a genuine gift — the channel opens again.

The caution with Neptune going direct is the same as always: know the difference between inspired vision and wishful thinking. Neptune direct can dissolve the edges between the two. Hold the dream and the discernment together.

Second, and moving in the opposite direction: Jupiter goes retrograde.

Jupiter stations retrograde while conjunct the south node of the moon in Leo. This is the combination that asks for the most honest self-accounting. Jupiter expands everything, and when it retrogrades conjunct the south node, it expands what belongs to the past — old patterns of excess, of over-promising, of the kind of confidence that runs ahead of the evidence.

Jupiter will stay here for a long time. The energy of excess, of over-spending, of extreme risk-taking — that energy is amplified by the south node's familiarity with Leo's grandest shadows. This is not an energy to suppress. It is an energy to stay aware of. Watch where you are expanding past what is actually there. Watch where optimism is running too far ahead of reality.

Neptune going direct, Jupiter going retrograde. One planet opens the dream. The other asks you to be honest about which dreams are yours and which belong to something you are ready to outgrow.

December 12th asks you to hold the vision and the honesty simultaneously. Neptune's gift and Jupiter's question belong together. The dream that survives honest scrutiny is the one worth following.

DECEMBER 14 TO 20 — GRAND FIRE TRINE

Between December 14th and December 20th, the sky builds a grand fire trine — and this is the peak of Sagittarius season.

The Sun in Sagittarius, Chiron in Aries, and Jupiter and the south node in Leo all move into a trine with each other, forming a triangle of fire in the sky. Three fire signs, three planets or points, all in conversation with each other in the aspect of flow and natural movement.

A grand fire trine is one of the most energizing configurations in astrology. Fire needs fire to sustain itself. When three fire signs are linked in a trine, the flame feeds itself — creative energy, passion, courage, and the capacity for bold action are all running in a continuous circuit.

The specific planets here give the trine its particular quality. The Sun in Sagittarius brings vision and philosophical expansion. Chiron in Aries brings the courage that only comes from having been wounded and kept going — the wounded healer's fire, which burns differently from the fire of pure confidence. Jupiter and the south node in Leo bring the warmth, the generosity, the creative force that has been building since November.

This is a window for bold movement. For saying the thing you have been holding back. For beginning what you have been preparing for without deciding it is ready.
Chiron in this trine is worth sitting with specifically. Chiron is not a comfortable planet. Its fire is not unearned. It is the fire of someone who has been through something real and emerged with knowledge they did not have before. When Chiron trines the Sun in Sagittarius, the expansion you are experiencing is not random. It is the expansion that your specific wound has been preparing you for. What you understand because of what you survived — that is your Sagittarius season gift.

The grand fire trine closes as the Sun approaches the solstice. These are the final days of the season, and they are the most energetically generous. Use them. Set them in motion. What you begin under a grand fire trine in the last week of December arrives in 2027 already burning.

The Signs Most Affected by Sagittarius Season 2026

The mutable signs feel this season most directly — Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. The Sun in Sagittarius, Uranus in Gemini, and Mars in Virgo form a powerful mutable cross for much of the season. If you have planets between roughly 2 and 20 degrees of any mutable sign, the sky is speaking specifically to your chart this month.

The fire signs — Aries, Leo, Sagittarius — are lit up by the grand fire trine in the final week. If this is your element, the last stretch of the season is energetically yours.

The cardinal signs — Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn — feel Saturn's station direct on December 10th as a personal completion. If you have planets in early to middle cardinal degrees, the Saturn retrograde review is officially over, and the work moves forward.

Every date we walked through is a doorway.
